Christine Doerksen
BA, PTN, ACE, MFC

Christine found her passion for fitness over 25 years ago, and is dedicated to sharing that passion with people from all backgrounds.

Christine holds a Kinesiology degree and has supplemented that education with many fitness/training certifications. Christine has years of experience with hockey strength & conditioning training at all levels, group classes and one on one personal training.

Whether you are looking to build muscle, lose weight, improve your endurance or work on your mobility, you’ll feel at home at AFFIRM Fitness.

Christine is proud to foster an inclusive environment that is welcoming to people of all ages, backgrounds, genders and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out, or an athlete wanting to step it up, Christine will have you falling in love with the process, not just the results!

Every client is different, but the one thing that remains constant is Christine’s approach to creating a happy, well-balanced lifestyle for anyone that walks through the doors.

Christine is a lover of dogs, and spends much of her free time giving back to the community through local charity events.

Cari Miller

Cari has been involved in the fitness industry as a group cycle and strength instructor and is passionate about sharing her love for fitness and health with people of all ages and fitness abilities.

Cari is a certified personal trainer and creates a training environment that motivates and empowers individuals to challenge themselves in a fun and rewarding way through personal training sessions and high intensity group training.

Understanding it isn’t always easy to begin or maintain a fitness routine, Cari will work with you to understand what your goals are and design a program that will kickstart and motivate you to reach those goals through individualized and small group training sessions.

Wherever you are in your journey, Cari’s approach to achieving a state of optimal health through movement, healthy food choices and a positive mindset will have you becoming the best version of yourself.

Jason Tsang B.Kin-AT, CAT(C)

Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and as part of the University of Manitoba Athletic Therapy program in 2015. He went on to complete the national certification exam and is a Certified Athletic Therapist as recognized by the Canadian Athletic Therapist’s Association.

Jason is also certified in RAPID Neurofascial Reset of the upper and lower body and vestibular ocular therapy through SHIFT Concussion Management.

Jason has experience working with a diverse clientele from youth athletes to working professionals. He has worked with professional athletes from a variety of sports including the NHL and CFL.

Jason also has much experience working with elite level sports teams including being the Head Athletic Therapist and Strength Coach for the Winnipeg Rifles Football Club and Valour FC Elite Girls soccer teams.

Jason is passionate about helping his clients get them out of pain and dysfunction. He utilizes his athletic therapy expertise to enable his clients to continue training around pain, rehabilitate existing injury, and reduce risk of future injuries.

Jason is excited about working with his clients to create a sustainable training plan that enables them to live life to the fullest!
